It has been exactly three months since my trip to Nimea Kaya and I am still soaking it all in. It was an amazing experience and I was could not have been more pleased with my decision to have first ayahuasca experience at Nimea Kaya.

Before my trip I researched nearly EVERY retreat in Pucallpa and Iquitos thoroughly; reading review after review trying to find a place that I trusted. I am generally skeptical and I was anxious about traveling to another continent to take one of the most powerful medicines on earth in the jungle but felt called to do it. From the minute I stepped off the plane the people who run the Tierra Vida showed themselves to be an experienced group of healers who made me feel safe and at home. They have worked with the medicine for many years and have seen it all. There was always a warm and friendly staff member there to help with any question I had or just to talk about the experience. I felt well cared for the entire stay.

The food was AMAZING. It was fresh, wholesome and healthy. The accommodations were much more comfortable than I expected for the jungle. The people I met were a wonderful group of like minded spiritual travelers who I enjoyed great conversations with all week.

The medicine is beyond description. It was so incredibly powerful and healing. Sometimes it can be challenging but as the loving guides at the Nimea Kaya always reminded us that it gives you what you can handle. The shamans they choose for the ceremonies are some of the most incredible spirit guides imaginable. Afterwards I have felt the most amazing I have ever felt in my life. The medicine did not change who I am, it made me a better version of myself. Now I feel more connected to life.

The owners Jill and Casey are gifted healers who are serving humanity with their amazing retreat. The facilitators who were there for my trip are some of the most caring and talented healers I have ever met. If you are reading this it means you should go. You will be happy you did. Blessings on your journey.
