WOMEN’S AYAHUASCA RETREAT

Sisters of the Vine ~ 7-Day Retreat
A Sacred Ayahuasca Retreat for Women
Heal, Transform, and Reconnect with Your Inner Power in the Heart of the Amazon.
April 13th – 19th, 2026

Join us for Sisters Of The Vine ~ a 7-Day, 6-Night Women’s Ayahuasca Retreat at the Nimea Kaya Retreat Center in the Amazon of Pucallpa, Peru. This sacred women’s gathering, held by Candace Garland and Ariel Szabo, includes three Ayahuasca ceremonies led by our Shipiba Maestras. In partnership with the medicine, the land, and the wisdom of our maestras, we weave womb rituals, astrology, song, dance, and the living current of feminine energy into a trauma-informed space of safety, reclamation, and renewal.
This is a container for women ready to awaken their sensual aliveness, reclaim their voice, and step into deeper communion with body, earth, and community. Together, we will listen both to the stars above and the body below, exploring how celestial cycles mirror our own inner rhythms. During the seven days, we will share circles of sisterhood and co-creation, with spaces for processing and integration through embodiment journeys such as womb clearing, yoni and voice activation, dancing with the astrological goddess archetypes that live within us, and cacao ceremony. We will also ground and restore through meditation, yoga, sound healing, and quiet time for reflection.
The time is now to return to sisterhood and community. To remember another way, before we were severed from earth, body, womb, voice, and intuition. To reclaim our sacred sensual nature and the collective power that has always been ours.
Come join us in these sacred lands of Peru — to return home to yourself, to the wisdom of the jungle, to the guidance of the Shipiba Maestras, and to the luminous map of the stars. Let yourself be held in the vibration of sisterhood as you step into the full expression of your sensual, embodied belonging.

Retreat Facilitators

The Women’s Ayahuasca Retreat will be guided by Candace Garland and Ariel Szabo, who were first brought together by Mother Ayahuasca in 2020 to hold transformative retreats for women. In partnership with the medicine, the sacred land, the Shipibo Maestras and a supportive female facilitator team, they infuse each trauma-informed container with somatic and embodiment practices, womb rituals, sacred song, dance, astrology, and the living current of sensual feminine energy.

Candace Garland
Candace is a medicine woman, artist, and trauma-informed space holder. Her journey with Nimea Kaya began in 2018 with her own healing, and by 2019 she was called to serve, facilitating retreats there for the next five years.
Over the past seven years, Candace has trained extensively in plant and animal medicines, completing Master Plant dietas and immersing in indigenous traditions with deep reverence. Her work weaves sacred medicines—including Kambo, Cacao, Rapè, and Sananga—with sound, movement, energy work, and Astrology/Tarot as pathways for integration and transformation.
With compassion and grounded presence, Candace creates trauma-informed spaces where participants can reconnect with their truth, sovereignty, and inner wisdom. She also hosts Plant Medicine Women’s Retreats in the Sacred Valley, guided by her passion for community, remembrance, and the collective healing journey.
Candace feels deeply honored to walk this path of service and to support others in remembering their wholeness.

Ariel Szabo
Ariel is a cosmic midwife of the soul. She holds and guides you over thresholds as you birth new ways of being in yourself and the world. Ariel works at the intersections of sensual somatics, womb-work, sacred sexuality and plant medicine to de-armor physical, emotional, and energetic spaces within yourself so you can live a life in love. Ariel is an artist and musician. Formally trained as a somatic psychedelic therapist, somatic sex educator, and sexological bodyworker; she weaves together spiritual and western teachings. Integrating the wisdom she receives from the consciousness of the plants and elements she sits with and western knowledge on working with the nervous system and trauma. Ariel is a student of indigenous practices and values pleasure and expanded states of consciousness as potent medicine with transformative potential. Ariel came into this work, and into partnership with Ayahuasca, through her own rebirth and transformation. She has walked the path of re-inhabiting her body, liberating her soul, and freeing her voice with the support of the plants. Now, she walks with others, holding the light, as they do the same.

Our Women’s Ayahuasca Retreat will be guided by female Shipiba Maestras that have decades of experience working with Ayahuasca and several master teacher plants.

Rosenda Flores
Rosenda is from the local Shipibo community, Santa Isabel de Bahuanisho, She comes from a long line of healers in her family. Rosenda began to feel called to heal others with Madre Ayahuasca when she was 30 years old. She started dieting with master teacher plans 18 years ago. She has dedicated her life to gaining wisdom through working with sacred plants and her teachers (maestros) Cecilio and Deodemero. With her extensive experience in this healing practice, she continues to diet many plants of the Amazon to expand her wisdom, knowledge and abilities to be able to heal those she works with in ceremony. Her beautifully sung medicine songs are a blessing to experience in ceremony!

Maria Lopez
Maria is originally from the Shipibo Native Community of Limongema. She is also Rosenda’s cousin and comes from a lineage of powerful healers. Her parents and grandparents have all dedicated their lives to learning the art of plant medicine healing. After her mother passed away, Maria felt strongly called to carry out her legacy and continue learning more about the plants so that she can help others heal. Maria started to diet plants when she was 19 years old and now has over 30 years experience working with Ayahuasca and other master teacher plants. Maria offers massage and also serves as a midwife in her local community.

Hear from Women Who Have Transformed Their Lives

“Candace and Ariel: these women are powerful and strong. They are incredibly real. For me that was a much needed breath of fresh air. And a permission slip to be vulnerable with myself and receive what I was hoping to: an opening of myself, of my own heart, and a deepening into my authentic self. I feel so blessed to have their guidance and witness them in their authentic selves as well. Everything that I got out of this experience was exactly what I needed. I’m taking home with me a new found inspiration and motivation to continue on this path.” -Zia
“This retreat was the most life-changing experience I’ve ever had. It transformed me from the inside out. Since being home, everything is shifting and aligning and it feels so incredible to be in my own skin and love the skin I’m in.” – Kolbi
“I have so much to take back with me. The lessons I’ve learned, the wisdom I’ve been given from the land, plants, and the beautiful souls I’ve gotten to share this experience with. The embodiment I’ve come to feel. Things I didn’t even know I needed, I have found here. Everything has been perfect.” -Trista
“I wanted to get in touch with my feminine side. To heal that part of me that has been hidden for so many years. I had lost touch with what it means to be truly in my feminine and to have a voice. Being here, I have been able to get a sense of confidence and root into who I really am. I have made so many connections to truly find sisterhood and healing in community.” – Vicky
