Over the past seven years, Candace has trained extensively in plant and animal medicines, completing Master Plant dietas and immersing in indigenous traditions with deep reverence. Her work weaves sacred medicines—including Kambo, Cacao, Rapè, and Sananga—with sound, movement, energy work, and Astrology/Tarot as pathways for integration and transformation.

With compassion and grounded presence, Candace creates trauma-informed spaces where participants can reconnect with their truth, sovereignty, and inner wisdom. She also hosts Plant Medicine Women’s Retreats in the Sacred Valley, guided by her passion for community, remembrance, and the collective healing journey.

Our Women’s Ayahuasca Retreat will be guided by female Shipiba Maestras that have decades of experience working with Ayahuasca and several master teacher plants.

Rosenda Flores

Rosenda is from the local Shipibo community, Santa Isabel de Bahuanisho, She comes from a long line of healers in her family.  Rosenda began to feel called to heal others with Madre Ayahuasca when she was 30 years old. She started dieting with master teacher plans 18 years ago. She has dedicated her life to gaining wisdom through working with sacred plants and her teachers (maestros) Cecilio and Deodemero. With her extensive experience in this healing practice, she continues to diet many plants of the Amazon to expand her wisdom, knowledge and abilities to be able to heal those she works with in ceremony. Her beautifully sung medicine songs are a blessing to experience in ceremony!

Maria Lopez

Maria is originally from the Shipibo Native Community of Limongema. She is also Rosenda’s cousin and comes from a lineage of powerful healers. Her parents and grandparents have all dedicated their lives to learning the art of plant medicine healing. After her mother passed away, Maria felt strongly called to carry out her legacy and continue learning more about the plants so that she can help others heal. Maria started to diet plants when she was 19 years old and now has over 30 years experience working with Ayahuasca and other master teacher plants. Maria offers massage and also serves as a midwife in her local community.

Hear from Women Who Have Transformed Their Lives

“Candace and Ariel: these women are powerful and strong. They are incredibly real. For me that was a much needed breath of fresh air. And a permission slip to be vulnerable with myself and receive what I was hoping to: an opening of myself, of my own heart, and a deepening into my authentic self. I feel so blessed to have their guidance and witness them in their authentic selves as well. Everything that I got out of this experience was exactly what I needed. I’m taking home with me a new found inspiration and motivation to continue on this path.” -Zia

“This retreat was the most life-changing experience I’ve ever had. It transformed me from the inside out. Since being home, everything is shifting and aligning and it feels so incredible to be in my own skin and love the skin I’m in.” – Kolbi

“I have so much to take back with me. The lessons I’ve learned, the wisdom I’ve been given from the land, plants, and the beautiful souls I’ve gotten to share this experience with. The embodiment I’ve come to feel. Things I didn’t even know I needed, I have found here. Everything has been perfect.”  -Trista

“I wanted to get in touch with my feminine side. To heal that part of me that has been hidden for so many years. I had lost touch with what it means to be truly in my feminine and to have a voice. Being here, I have been able to get a sense of confidence and root into who I really am. I have made so many connections to truly find sisterhood and healing in community.” – Vicky
